It will be a premier league affair when Township Rollers face Gilport Lions in an Orange FA Cup fixture.

The two were pitted against each other during the last 32 draw conducted in Gaborone on Tuesday.  Another blockbuster fixture will be between Mochudi Centre Chiefs and Security Systems.

Largely, the draw saw heavy weights being drawn against the minors.

Defending champions, Gaborone United, will travel to Kgalagadi for a date with either Lekgwabe United or Motaung Young Fighters.

The two Kgalagadi sides are yet to play after their encounter was cancelled due to rain.

The encounter between Skoon Boys and Mogoditsane Fighters, which was also cancelled due to heavy downpours, would be played on March 26 and the winner will face Jwaneng Galaxy.

In other fixtures; Matebele FC will face Prisons XI while Orapa United will face Holy Ghost.

Serowe-based Miscellaneous will fight against Police XI whereas Eleven Angels will battle against Peace Makers.

Black Forest have been drawn alongside Morupule, while Nico United will slug it out with Botswana Railways Highlanders while Chadibe will play with Calender Starsm and Tsabotlhe will battle with Sua Flamingo.

The tournament will continue with a mouth-watering encounter between Kgabosetso and Extension Gunners and Red Sparks against BIUST All Stars.

Speaking at the draw, the Botswana Fotball Association’s general manager-football operations, Monnakgotla Mojaki, said it took dedication and commitment to go home with a trophy and P700 000 grand prize.

He noted that the date and the venue of the fixtures would be communicated in due course. ENDS
