Security Systems walloped Jwaneng Galaxy 4-2 in a premier league game in Lobatse on Saturday March 5.
Systems fired missiles at their opponents from the first whistle forcing them to concede an early goal.
Security Systems played string of passes with opponents ball watching and only to commit a foul in a danger zone that saw Systems’ hard working star, Morris Ruzivo, converting a direct-free-kick in the third minute.
In the 19th minute, the marauding Systems scored again through Tawana Mbakile after executing precise passes and volleying the ball inside the box much to the ecstasy of their fans.
A minute later, Systems’ Molaodi Tlhalefang increased tally when he fired an air-borne strike that proved hard nut to crack for Galaxy goal minder, Anthony Gouws.
In the 26th minute, Galaxy responded fiercely through a marvel to watch, Wendell Rudath, who scored a stunner after rounding up Security Systems’ defense and put the ball between the keeper Karabo Gaolebale’s legs.
Mbakile scored his second goal in the 43rd which Gouws should have done better to prevent by ensuring good command of the goal area.
Wendell also achieved a brace in the 48th minute through a grass-cutter that reduced the score margin.
Security Systems coach, Kaelo Kaelo, said Galaxy were a strong side given that it was above them in Botswana Premier League log standings and that it was participating in Confederation of African Football champions league (CAF).
He said given that they had defeated Galaxy in their home turf in January, they would seek revenge and that made the game even tougher, adding that football matches were not won by who was stronger, but by executing good planning.
Though content with the results, Kaelo said they never had illusions that it would be an easy game hence making some changes to secure the goals.
For his part, Galaxy coach, Morena Ramoreboli, said his side made school boy errors in the first 45 minutes and as such there were things that he would perfect during training.
He said in the second half, they made tactical changes that worked to some extent, but it was still difficult to score more goals.
Ramoreboli decried missed opportunities in the second half, saying his side looked better, more organised and did well in the second half.
He said the goals conceded were similar to that of the first round in January as Letlhogonolo Chenjela went wide with a centre back and beat him there and played a cross that resulted into a goal. He said motivation dropped for his side due to a huge margin. Ends
