Stay Well to host appreciation party
14 Feb 2022
Stay Well Gardens in collaboration with Stay Well Hotel will on February 26 host an appreciation party for its stakeholders .
Giving an update on the event Wednesday, Stay Well Hotel general manager, Neo Ntlole said the event was planned to recognise their partners who helped the two businesses continue operating despite COVID-19 hurdles.
“The party notion occurred to us randomly. It was meant to be a staff Christmas celebration but we changed it to cater for other stakeholders,” she said.
Ntlole said a portion of the gate takings would be donated to non-governmental organisations, to benefit the disadvantaged, noting that the Ministry of Youth Empowerment Sport and Culture Development had been tasked to identify such organisations.
She said small-scale company owners would be provided with stalls to freely advertise.
Activities for the day will include water slides, horseback riding and swimming among others. Ntlole said artists and comedians would be given a chance to perform, to help resuscitate their businesses following a break of almost two years due to COVID-19.
A.T.I will lead the lineup according to Kemo Masoko alias DJ Chrispin-The Drummer, who is part of the celebration preparations.
Charma gal, Khoisan, Dr Vom, DJ TIC and several comedians are also expected to perform alongside Lentswe la badimo hitmaker while MC Theo aka Hey Nyena will direct the day’s events. DJ Chrispin-The Drummer said the lineup was a deliberate move to show that local artists were capable. ENDS
