The match started well with both teams enjoying possession and having a fair share of attacking.

Coming from half time, the assertive Galaxy who seemed to have found their winning formula took total control of the game.
A clumsy tackle inside the box by Galaxy defender, Doctor David gave Fighters a penalty.
Thamiso Gaogangwe easily converted from the spot kick in the 55th minute.
Two minutes after the equaliser, Galaxy fought like a wounded buffalo and got a goal through Tshepang Boithatelo.
An authoritative combination of Galaxy’s Themba DhlaDhla and the ever hard working Thabang Sesinyi destroyed Fighters middle field.
A break through pass from the middle of the park gave Wendell another opportunity to net a brace in the 58th minute.
Fighters had a daunting task to come from behind when Moagi Sechele took the game beyond its reach in the 70th minute, scoring the fourth goal.
Galaxy’s dominance over the youthful and inexperienced Fighters again paid off in the 73th minute when Lucky Mokoena found the back of the net.
Galaxy veteran striker, Tebogo Sembowa, could not be left behind as he netted the final goal in the 75th minute.
Galaxy’s deservedly 6-1 victory took them to position six in the log standings.
