09 Dec 2021

Fireworks are expected when Tafic football club, aka Machimenyenga” hosts the Bobonong outfit, the Peacemakers in a first division north league fixture at Old Francistown council stadium this Saturday.

Last weekend, the UndipeNdikupe as Tfic is popularly known played to a 2 all draw against Maun based Terrors Football Club. Prior to last week duel, the team lost 4-1 to Nico United and 1-nil to Chadibe football club respectively.
Tafic Public Relations Officer, Kabelo Dipholo said in an interview that the ‘giants of the north’ were looking to redeem themselves and register their first win against the Bobonong based outfit.
He said the boys were in good spirits to put up a gallant fight against Peacemakers attributing the two losses to long football dry-spell due to COVID-19.

However, Dipholo said the team would be firing on all its cylinders looking at its performance against both Nico United and Chadibe Football Club.
“There will be no peace when we meet the Peacemakers this Saturday. We therefore call upon all our supporters in Francistown and surrounding to come in their droves and give the team support,” he pleaded.

Peacemakers Head Coach, Kelebogile Dingalo relayed their sojourn to the city of Francistown was solely to bag the three-points.
“We are going to teach them a lesson. They will suffer more humiliation than before and we are going there to collect our three points,” said Dingalo.

He said his squad was also in good spirits to take Tafic head-on. He said a win would boost Peacemakers chances to gain promotion to the elite league next season.
Peacemakers has collected seven points having played three games. They won two games against Motlakase FC and Sankoyo Bush Bucks and drew one against Eleven Angels.
