Mogaka Wa MoAfrica promotes youth talent

Mogaka Wa MoAfrica is a non-profitable organisation that aims at helping school drop outs find ways of building their future.
The organisation founder, Thabo Tshimologo told BOPA that the organisation registered with Companies and Intellectual Property Authority (CIPA) in 2014.
Tshimologo said he was concerned about youth unemployment which often led some to commit crimes hence the formation of the organisation.
“The organisation does not offer the youth grants, but rather promote youth talents,” he said adding that Mogaka Wa MoAfrika assisted youth with free recording of albums and shooting of videos.
“The likes of Dj Moist, Bomber Beats and Paus Production have volunteered at Mogaka Wa MoAfrica with recording of albums for artists,” Tshimologo said.
The 32-year-old said Mogaka Wa MoAfrika offered different activities including drama, comedy, culture and poetry as well as music and sports.
Although based in Mahalapye, Mogaka Wa MoAfrika, helps youth country wide, he clarified.
Before the COVID-19 crisis, the organisation raised funds by conducting talent shows in community halls and promotions at bus rank where they showcased youth talents.
Tshimologo said for the organisation to grow, they needed financial assistance and support from members of the public and different companies. ENDS
