Butale does not accept results

BPF’s Biggie Butale does not accept results.
Returning officer Mr Loeto Porati requested that he should show up at the counting centre to submit his appeal or he would go ahead and announce the results.
The returning officer eventually announced the results, saying they could not address an appeal from an absent candidate.
Mr Porati said if Mr Butale was not happy he should follow the right procedure and come to the counting centre. In a phone interview, Mr Butale said he did not accept the results but could not disclose the reasons behind his decision.
He indicated that he would contact the returning officer and the right office to lodge a complaint. Ends
