Post offices to close temporarily

BotswanaPost has announced the closure of post offices across the country March 29-30 due to the implementation of a business process management system.
A news release from BotswanaPost states that the introduction of the system will enable the organisation to operate more effectively and efficiently subsequently improving customer interaction.
The closure of post offices will commence on March 29 with the low volume branches while all post offices countrywide will be closed on March 30.
In the southern region, the affected offices are Thebephatshwa, Takatokwane, Sojwe, Kopong, Metsimotlhabe, Mmankgodi, Otse, Taung, Nkoyaphiri, Oodi, Motokwe, Lehututu, Mabule, Bokspits, Sikwane, Molapowabojang, Kanye, Tomela, Digawana and Mmathethe.
In the central region, they are Kalamare, Moiyabana, Mopipi, Rakops, Semolale, Serule, Maokatumo, Tsetsebjwe, Moeng, Lecheng, Mookane, Machaneng, Pilikwe, Ramokgonami and Shashe.
In the northern region affected post offices are Etsha, Sehithwa, Kalkfontein, Ncojane, Matsiloje, Ramokgwebana, Kavimba, Makaleng, Pandamatenga and Nkange.
The release states that BotswanaPost has ensured minimal impact on service availability during the two-day closure of post offices.
Furthermore, the parastatal has apologised for any inconvenience that may arise. ENDS
