Local renowned kwasa kwasa artistes, Tumelo Modise aka Tumza and Kebabonye Makgosa famously known as Stango have collaborated to release a single called Dilo tsa batho.

Speaking in an interview, Tumza said the hit single was about jealousy and hatred.

The Mmadinare-born lad said the song was recorded in Shadow Studio in Mmopane.

He said it was more rewarding to release a single than the whole album these says.

He highlighted that he collaborated with Stango in order to raise the level of music in Bobirwa and to help artistes in the area learn more about the music industry.

“Bobonong has talented artistes like Stango whom their talent could take them somewhere in life but because they stay where there are few music lovers that hinders their growth and success,” he said.

He said most of talented musicians in the area were forced to do other things besides music to sustain themselves.

For his part, Molalatau-based artiste, Stango said his collaboration with Tumza had borne fruits as it had brought change in his style of recording music.

In his previous album, Chenchi and Ngwaga o fela leng, he said he used the DRC type of music style of kwasa kwasa not knowing that it differed from Botswana style.

Stango explained that his collaboration with Tumza was a turning point for the better. ENDS
