Dr Madigele, who is also the Assistant Minister of Health, informed residents of Lerwana that while the clinic would be extended, toilets construction and paving of the clinic would be done by Lobatse District Health Management Team (DHMT) through the minor maintenance budget.

He acknowledged that water shortage in the area was a concern and told residents that the Water Utilities Corporation (WUC) in Lobatse was still awaiting funds for the repair of Digawana water tank.

However, he said he would meet with them again in the near future adding that he had also requested the WUC to make use of available boreholes.

Furthermore, Dr Madigele applauded the village extension team and village development committee in both Lerwana and Mogojogojo for their efforts and spirit of volunteerism in developing their respective villages.

Responding to concerns raised by Lerwana residents, representative from Good Hope Sub-council, Mr Nelson Ramathokgwane, informed residents that a delay in the implementation of poverty eradication projects after assessment was normally caused by the process of sending names of successful beneficiaries to relevant departments.
